We leave with the Hands at Work mission clearly before us, to, through relationship with Hands at Work in Africa and the Church inside of Africa, challenge, encourage, develop and support the ministry of servant hood among those in need in their community. We believe the biblical mandate to care for the dying, widows and orphans is not only for the Church in Africa, but also elsewhere, and Hands at Work in Africa (Canada) Society will be a prophetic voice to the Churches inside Canada, challenging them to fulfill their mandate.
So with that said, thank you to those that have supported us along the way (financially and in prayer) and we would so appreciate your ongoing prayer support. Specifically:1. For travelling safety, both in transit as well as on the ground in Zambia.
2. For physical safety for the team.
3. For "God moments" throughout the trip; moments where God touches the lives of those we are in contact with but at the same time touches us.
4. For Hands at Work as an organization as they seek to be God's hands, feet, and eyes to the most vulnerable orphans and widows in Africa.
5. For Celine as she will be staying in Zambia in August and then travelling down to South Africa in early September for her long term missions intake (staying for 1 year) - for strength (physical, emotional, spiritual).
That's it for now, but stay tuned...
